SMARTA Ortho Solutions — Terms of Use
Last updated: September 12, 2026
These terms apply to the SMARTA Online Course and any other online course content sold by SMARTA Ortho Solutions, LLC. By creating an account and enrolling, you agree to them. If you do not agree, do not create an account.
In these terms, "we" and "SMARTA" mean SMARTA Ortho Solutions, LLC. "You" means the licensed dental professional who purchased the course.
1. What you are buying
You are buying a license to access and use the course. You are not buying the course materials themselves.
We grant you a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, non-sublicensable license to view and use the course for your own clinical practice.
2. Who may view the course
Your enrollment covers you and the staff who work in your practice. You and your team may view the material together on your single login. You may use what you learn in your own practice. You may show your own staff how you apply it in your office.
You may not create additional accounts for other people. You may not share your login with a doctor outside your practice. You may not give access to another practice, a study club, a residency program, a dental support organization, or any organization you do not own.
3. What you may not do
You may not copy, download, record, screenshot, screen capture, or reproduce course content. The exception is material we specifically provide as a download.
You may not sell, rent, license, publish, post, or distribute any part of the course.
You may not use the course content to teach, train, or instruct anyone outside your own practice. This includes lectures, study clubs, webinars, residency teaching, consulting work, and any educational program, paid or unpaid.
You may not use the course content to create your own course, workbook, protocol document, or other educational material.
You may not remove or alter any copyright notice, trademark, or attribution in the materials.
4. Ownership
All course content belongs to SMARTA Ortho Solutions, LLC. This includes the videos, slides, handouts, workbooks, templates, protocols, scripts, quizzes, graphics, and the way the course is organized and sequenced.
© 2026 SMARTA Ortho Solutions, LLC. All rights reserved. The content is protected by United States copyright law and international copyright treaties.
Nothing in these terms transfers ownership of anything to you.
5. Access
You have access for as long as we continue to offer the course.
We may update, replace, reorganize, or retire course content at any time. If we retire a course you are enrolled in, we will give you reasonable notice. You will have a chance to download any materials marked as downloadable before access ends.
6. Payment and refunds
All sales are final. We do not offer refunds once your account has been created and access has been granted.
If a payment is reversed or charged back, we may suspend or close your account.
7. Align templates
Some of our courses teach the use of a treatment planning template developed and owned by Align Technology, Inc.
Access to any Align template is granted by Align, not by us. Completing a course does not guarantee that Align will enable a template in your Invisalign account. Align decides who receives a template, when, on what terms, and for how long. Align may modify, suspend, or discontinue a template at any time.
We are not responsible for Align's decisions about template access or availability. You are buying training, and the training is what we deliver.
8. This is education, not clinical direction
The course teaches clinical concepts, planning methods, and workflows. It does not tell you how to treat a specific patient.
You are responsible for diagnosis, treatment planning, informed consent, and every treatment decision you make for your own patients. You are responsible for practicing within your license, your training, and the rules of your licensing board.
We make no promise about clinical results, case outcomes, treatment times, practice growth, or revenue. What you get from the material depends on your own judgment, experience, and how you apply it.
9. Trademarks that are not ours
Invisalign, iTero, ClinCheck, and Align Technology are trademarks of Align Technology, Inc. Other product and company names mentioned in the course belong to their owners.
SMARTA Ortho Solutions is an independent education company. Our courses are not sponsored, endorsed, certified, or approved by Align Technology or by any manufacturer. Any exception will be stated in writing on the specific course.
10. Continuing education credit
SMARTA Ortho Solutions is a Nationally Approved PACE Program Provider for FAGD/MAGD credit. Approval does not imply acceptance by any regulatory authority or AGD endorsement. Approval period 10/1/2025 to 9/30/2027. Provider ID# 437935.
Credit is awarded when you complete the requirements stated in the course. You are responsible for confirming that the credit is accepted by your own licensing board.
11. Your account
Keep your login credentials confidential. You are responsible for everything that happens under your account. Tell us right away if you believe someone else has your login.
12. If these terms are broken
If you break these terms, we may suspend or close your account without a refund.
We may also pursue any legal remedy available to us. Unauthorized copying or distribution of the course causes harm that money alone may not fix. We may seek a court order stopping the activity in addition to damages.
13. Limit of our liability
To the extent the law allows, our total liability to you for any claim relating to the course will not exceed the amount you paid for it.
We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages. This includes lost profits and lost practice revenue.
14. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. The current version is always posted on this page. The date at the top shows when it last changed. Continuing to use the course after a change is posted means you accept it.
15. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California. Any dispute will be brought in the state or federal courts located in Alameda County, California.
